"To promote and achieve conservation and sustainability of Utah's natural resources by bringing government and local agencies together with private interests to foster solutions and to provide financial and educational assistance to landowners & users in Salt Lake County."

Canal Weed Project: A partnership between the Salt Lake Conservation District and the canal company treated 11 linear feet of canal, with mowing to enhance success. This effort will help engage more canal companies and reduce weeds along water systems.

Small Farm Producer Outreach: The Salt Lake Conservation District and Wasatch Community Gardens hosted a Small Farm Conservation Outreach Dinner, connecting farmers with conservation resources. The well-attended event included presentations and one-on-one sessions. Contact us for details!

Poster Contest 2024: Congrats to Ryan Gardner, winner of the Salt Lake Conservation District's local poster contest! His artwork, themed “May the Forest Be with You, Always," will represent our area at the UACD state competition during NACD’s Stewardship Week.
