Grand CD and the Youth Garden Project Build a Hoop House

The Grand Conservation District has been involved with the Youth Garden Project (YGP) in Moab for several years. Recently the district provided funds for an automated irrigation system and helped with the construction of a hoop house to expand the Garden Field Trip Program and extend the YGP's growing season and increase production. Due to the extensive connection YGP has with the local schools, the CD board feels this is a good extension of their mission to educate the community about the importance of agriculture.
